My most popular post of 2016, my first year of blogging, was the American classic: jeans and a t-shirt. Easy, comfortable, casual and versatile! You can change this basic duo into an infinite number of looks, and can wear it just about anywhere. It’s like a painter’s canvas: you are the artist. By changing the colors and shapes of your t-shirt and jeans and adding the accessories that you like best, you could wear this every day of the week to just about any event and always look different. Here is an update on how to make jeans and a tee more interesting.
This post starts with a style tip and alternatives to the usual white tee, blue jeans and sneakers. After that is a list of possible toppers to add that magical third piece. Then, there are ideas for possible statement accessories to punch up your outfit. Following that are alternatives for business casual, day to evening and evening looks. Color schemes are another way to think about how to combine these basics. Rolling sleeves and pant legs change the silhouette. And finally, don’t miss over 100 outfit ideas in the last sections below! With so many possibilities, age doesn’t matter.
