When you’re going places in the Fall, this post tips you off to the elements of style that can help you get classy quick!

The outfit ideas here are mostly classic with a couple of this year’s popular elements such as  denim on denim, velvet and plaid.  Classic means classy, so age doesn’t matter.  I hope you will find the following ideas useful for coming up with quick outfits.  While you scan through these combinations, why don’t you go ahead and plan the next week’s worth of outfits so you’re ready for each day?

  2. Embellish a classic cardigan.  Add brooches, pearls or a belt to the one you already own, or buy one with beading.
  3. Add 1-3 strands of pearls to a cashmere crew-neck or a matching camisole and cardigan.
  4. Over-the-knee boots will add warmth no matter what you’re wearing.
  5. Evening:  Throw a chunky sweater over a feminine dress.  You might also want to add a long scarf around your neck with tails in front.
