I hope today’s tip inspires you to look through your tops and metal jewelry to create some new outfits. Make it your own, and enjoy!
Today’s Tip:
With a boho top and jeans, add exotic metals like yellow gold or rustic silver jewelry.
Choose the boho top that speaks to your style. With an almost unlimited number of ways to stamp your own character on the style, the bohemian chic look suits almost everyone. For instance, you can get a boho-style top in maritime stripes or gingham.
If possible, pile on as much jewelry as you can. Just have fun!
What is a Boho Top?
Boho tops are usually of free-flowing designs with light floaty fabrics, such as chiffon and oversize silhouettes. They often are embroidered or have ruffles, lace or crochet details. Vintage clothing fits right into this style, whether romantic or earthy. Loose tops such as t-shirts, sweaters or linen shirts count as well.
You might like to add a camisole, tank or tee under your top or a vest over it. In addition to or in place of a boho blouse or tunic, you can use a topper such as a kimono, oversize jacket or cardigan. Cropped jackets or cardigans may also overlay a longer tunic or shirt to reign in volume and to emphasize the layered look that is common to bohemian style.
Earth tones and natural fabrics often predominate in boho style. Faux fur, leather and suede as well as linen, silk and cotton are some of the common materials making up boho clothing.
Some examples of boho tops are: peasant tops, tunics, kimonos; tops with tassels or fringe; smocked or pintuck tops; ruffled tops; and anything embroidered or with an ethnic or geometric print.
Are There Jeans That Go Best With a Boho Top?
For the best silhouette, choose your jeans as follows. Flared or wide-leg jeans are good with a fitted boho top. If the top is oversize or voluminous or a tunic, wear skinny jeans or jeggings with it.
Here Are Some Examples For Your Inspiration —
A ruched shirt + blue jeans + a beaded silver cross pendant + silver dangle earrings + a silver cuff + a silver charms wrap bracelet + a fedora:
