Over 50 Outfit Ideas for Ways to Wear Animal Print Skirts and Pants
This is the sixth in a series of animal-print outfit ideas. There are now three style tips and a post on tops HERE and another on toppers HERE. Today’s post focuses on animal-print skirts and pants. But this is not the end! There are infinite possibilities where creativity is concerned. So we can explore more ideas for dresses and accessories. And then I’ll have two more style tips to end this series with a bang, a roar or a meow (you decide 🙂 Age doesn’t matter because you can choose the outfit combinations that work for you, including modifying the ideas below. Use what you have and wear what you love. <3
Colors and Prints to Go With Animal-Print Skirts and Pants
- Try any metallic top with your animal-print bottoms, such as the copper blouse and python pants above.
- Animal prints go well with white or denim or leather. Add cool boots, platform sandals or a cap for an extra style twist.
- Wear a bright color, such as purple or red, with animal-print bottoms. For instance, pair a purple turtleneck with a tiger-print skirt and accessorize with a beautiful necklace.
- Or top an animal-print skirt or pants with a red sweater. You might like to add a long, gold chain pendant, patent leather shoes, grey stockings.
- You can easily pair pastel colors with animal prints (i.e., a pastel top with animal-print pants or skirt.)
- Neutrals work beautifully with animal prints. (See my style tip HERE.) Try a brown jacket with an animal-print skirt and brown boots; or a grey t-shirt with animal-print bottoms.
- Feel free to experiment with mixing other prints with your animal prints, such as checks with snakeprint.
- Pair a floral top with animal-print bottoms. For example, you could wear a floral big shirt with leopard leggings, a statement necklace and leopard-print booties.
- Another great print combination is a polka-dot top with animal-print bottoms. For an example, you could try a black polka-dot camisole with a zebra-print skirt and a black faux leather moto jacket with a black bag.
- Try mixing two animal prints, such as a leopard-print top with a tiger-print skirt.
