Let’s Give Some Love to the Color Trend for 2025: Cherry Red
I love cherry anything: pie, juice, dried cherries, fresh…so how about the color? Although I never thought of it as something other than a flavor, 2025 is the time to appreciate cherry in fashion! So why don’t we give some love to this year’s color trend: cherry red? Age doesn’t matter, because it can only bring a youthful blush to your face. 😉
Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, wearing this color can add a sexiness to your evening. But it’s also great for Christmas and other festivities throughout the year.
Color Trend 2025: Cherry Red
We’re talking about a deep red that layers well with other shades of red, from brighter to darker. Cherry red is especially delicious when glossy. Think lip gloss or a patent leather purse or shoes. It is a wonderful accent color.
Red is a statement color that attracts the eye, so try using it to draw attention to your body’s best feature. In general, wear it in situations where you want to command attention in some way.

It pairs perfectly with neutral tones, such as cream, chocolate brown, charcoal grey and caramel, while also adding just the right amount of brightness to those cozy, darker palettes we love for winter.

Pair with blue jeans. They go with everything. Choose dark denim for a dressier vibe.
Cherry red is the perfect pop of color to add to any basic outfit.

What do I always say? Leopard goes with everything!
Why don’t you try adding little hints and touches of cherry red into your wardrobe this year? The more the cheerier!

My husband loves to see me in red, but it’s always been a color I’ve shied away from. I’m not exactly sure why that is. The funny thing is, lately, I’ve been noticing much more red in my closet than I thought I had. Just like every other hue, I have to look for the ones with blue undertones. Thanks for all these gorgeous inspirations, Angie! You are a master at creating these mini mood boards!

Thanks for your kind words, Marsha! I hope you pull out some of that red in your closet and wear it for your Valentine, even if it’s time at home. Cherry red is actually cool and people like me have to find a warm shade of it to wear. So enjoy trying out this trend this year!
