Style & Beauty Advice From Our Team

A lace-up top can be subtly sexy or it can be more romantic, like a soft blouse or a poet’s shirt or even a peasant top. Angie at Your True Self Blog also likes a t-shirt with a lace-up neckline as a camisole, tank, short-sleeve, long-sleeve or tunic length top. These can be worn on their own in warm weather and layered during cool weather. Take a look at a few of Angie’s ideas on how to wear lace-up tops, lattice tops or crisscross tops!

Allison from Never Say Die Beauty has been busy these last couple of weeks redecorating a bedroom and touching up the paint throughout her house. This week, she decided to paint her nails with an Olive and June Longwearing Nail Polish that fits right in with the decor!

  • I had a appointment with a doctor for more info about fillers. I called it off. I am not ready for fillers and I hope I never will be. I do have botox between my eyes and I am very happy with that. It’s only once a year!

    • Botox makes me shudder. But I agree that it was interesting to read about this new treatment. I think it’s great to have procedures available that prevent the need for anything surgically invasive. Barbie explores all the newest procedures, so you can find out just about anything at her blog. It seems that she tries it all. In the end, I am just a natural woman I guess. If I get concerned about sagging and wrinkles, I head for things like facial exercises, gua sha, jade rollers and serums. I do like the laser lights and such, though, too.
