Citron Green Will Make You Bolder This Year; Age Doesn’t Matter

You know how I say age doesn’t matter because older is bolder? Well, citron green will make you stand out. I encourage you to wear this trending color this year and beyond. The spring/summer 2024 runways introduced this zesty hue per the collections of LaPointe, Alejandra Alonso Rojas, and Elisabetta Franchi. The electric chartreuse works well for special occasions but can easily be toned down and dressed down.
Q2 Green Ribbed Knit Turtleneck Jumper from Himelhoch’s With Balloon Sleeves will make you stand out in the fall and winter.

As a lively yellow green, it will be useful in the fall as well. For winter, contrast it with dark and cool colors and thick, textured fabrics.

If citron is just too far out of your comfort zone, use it in accessories as a color pop with a more neutral look. For instance, add a bright handbag. Or, consider adding it as a belt or a statement necklace. Peridot gemstones create a nice blend of green.

If you don’t have anything in citron you might like to use one of its  cousins, chartreuse or lime green, instead.

So let’s get comfortable with how to wear this color. First, we can become more familiar with colors that go well with it. From there, it’s pretty easy to start brightening up our outfits in a wide variety of  ways.
