At first, wearing a protective face mask such as a white N95 or a blue surgical mask made me feel like “why bother wearing a nice outfit when it’s ruined by a mask like this?” I thought, if we have to wear masks, why not look good while doing it? So I began to explore how to have the most style possible when wearing a face mask. Age doesn’t matter. The style principles are the same for all of us. We just need to adjust them to let our true self shine even when adding a protective face covering.
I only have one pair of harem pants but I wear them often. I love them in the summer because they are light and airy. With the summers getting hotter, they are a go-to item for keeping cool. Yet they are adaptable for any season and can be layered as you like. And they come in a variety of shapes and fabrics. They are easy to style with a t-shirt yet can be worn for evening events as well. Since they are always comfortable, let’s explore how to enjoy the ease of harem pants!
Harem pants are full, loose-fitting pants made of a soft material that is gathered in closely at the ankle or lower leg. The original harem pants were introduced to Western fashion by designers such as Paul Poiret around 1910, although they themselves were inspired by Middle Eastern styles, and by şalvar (Turkish trousers). Read on to find out how you can enjoy the ease of harem pants for yourself!

Whether wearing something special or just something casual, adding a pop of color brings it to a whole new level, especially when your basics are neutral and/or monochrome. My style tip of the day shows you one way to brighten your outfit. It’s so easy and age doesn’t matter!
While self-quarantining at home, this is the perfect time to explore how to style pajamas as daywear. And then as we gather in public again, this is always a comfortable style that can be made chic for around town and for evenings. Age doesn’t matter!
So today I’d like to explore ten ways to wear pajamas as daywear, along with some tips to help inspire you further. Even if you stay at home, you’ll look like you’re actually dressed! Best of all, you can drop into bed at the end of a tiring day without changing…or rather, my favorite is to get up in the morning already dressed. 😉 All you have to do is accessorize for day.
When my kids were in high school, the girls started wearing pajama pants to school in place of their regular pants, skirts or jeans. And they managed to look perfectly normal. After that, I learned from my daughter that I could go about town in pajama pants as long as they looked presentable (such as plaid, etc.) So if I was just going to run out to the store or something like that, I would wear a t-shirt and a pair of plaid pajama pants with street shoes and accessories.
In the last few years, designers have been creating pajama sets for day that are made of luxe materials and look quite glamorous. For instance, the Johnny Was catalog sells some nice ones (see above.) An updated pajama set can be made of satin or velvet. And a velvet pajama set that has a camisole top can actually be used year round.
