I believe asymmetry is becoming a new interest in fashions because we are heading into the future. Futuristic designs are being played with to see what we can try next and begin to move into. For instance, Y2K sunglasses are being featured this year along with wraparound mirrored lenses, etc. But today I’m exploring the many different ways to wear asymmetric skirts. After all, age doesn’t matter when you’ve got style!
I decided to look into one of the many choices we have in fashion this fall and winter. In the process, I have formed a little guide that can be used as an inspiration to create outfits for any age with touches of punk futurism now.
It takes courage to dare to wear something new and different from what we’re used to. On the other hand, it takes guts to wear something we wore in the past once we get older. That’s where being true to your self comes in; you never have to stop being yourself. And when you get older, I believe it’s easier to break out of expectations and wear whatever you darn please.
This post is for women who want to do just that…and for women who want to take their look into the future a bit…and for women who have some punk rebel in them…and for women who love to wear black (is that all of us?)
Go ahead. Show your true self. And remember, age doesn’t matter!
This opening photo of an outfit in the urban nomadic style by designer Nicholas K is a bit more futuristic and not as down and dirty as post-apocalyptic style normally is. But interpreting styles to make them your own in a modern way according to your tastes is what the fashion game is all about. This way, age doesn’t matter because you just tweak the look the way you like. Keep this in mind as you check out the key concepts of how to dress at the end of the world!
