How to Conquer the Sleep Problem

I was talking with my friend, Elaine, about our mutual problem of being awake until the early morning hours (2 or 3 am) and waking up late (between 10 am and noon). I was trying to stop myself in the evenings but I am most productive and creative at that time. Elaine asked, “why should we fight it?” I guess she feels that after years of trying to get this problem under control, she doesn’t fight it anymore as long as she can sleep without interruption. She told me that after years of researching how to conquer the sleep problem, she found that there is not just one solution. She said there are many things to do to improve sleep patterns and that she found that she has to do them all in order to get the benefit.

I asked Elaine if she could tell me what she does so that I could see if it would help others. I took notes on what she told me and I asked if she minded me sharing her tips with my readers. She went a step further. One day recently, I received an email from her with the subject “My pro-sleep regimen”. She wrote:

When COVID-19 hit our part of the United States, the first thing I did was make sure I added vitamin C, echinacea, goldenseal and zinc to my daily vitamins.  My husband followed suit and then asked me to come up with a list for our friends and neighbors of what supplements can help with immunity and stress.  Going beyond that, I would also like to extend this information to you, my dear readers, in case you might be interested in this subject as well.  I researched what over-the-counter supplements may help with immunity and stress.

What Happens at a Yoga Retreat on the Sea?

Hi!  My sister and I just got back from the Ageless Beauty:  Yoga & Wellness cruise to Cozumel.  Hosted by Cindy Bartz, the yoga cruise had dozens of natural healing classes and events as well as private sessions to choose from.  When you meet the instructors, you can see that when you practice wellness techniques age doesn’t matter because they are all glowing with vitality.  So what happens at a yoga retreat on the sea?  Let me tell you a little about it and share with you what I learned.

The weather wasn’t the greatest because of a storm that passed through, making the waters choppy.  That made my first snorkeling adventure a little difficult, but I saw a baby shark and other fascinating sea life and had a fun trip overall.
