Leather jackets continue to be a significant fashion trend this year, including in the Springtime. From oversized, slouchy styles to minimal, structured looks and bomber jackets, there is a wide variety for you to choose from. Age doesn’t matter; wear what you love. As I searched for examples for this post, I found mostly motorcycle jackets, but classic designs are definitely on the radar. So I’ve collected 45 classic and popular ways to wear a leather jacket.
At this time, we’re heading into milder weather when a leather jacket can cut the wind and be just the touch of warmth you need when you go outside. However, if it’s not enough you can always still layer. In the winter, wear this jacket under your coat. On warmer days, a light skirt or shorts and sandals can create the right balance.
You can get leather jackets nowadays in many colors beyond black, such as brown, burgundy, red, white or whatever you like.
Presently, the most popular footwear is moto-type boots or chunky sandals. But be your true self. You might like to dress up in heels or dress down in sneakers. If you choose the chunky or sneaker route, you can go anywhere in a beautiful maxi dress, a tulle skirt, etc.
For any of the leather jacket outfits in this post, try accessorizing with urban accessories and a soft, opulent scarf.
Below are ways to wear three types of leather jackets: classic, black and motorcycle styles.
All references to leather and suede in this post, as throughout my blog, are meant to be faux in order to be kind to animals.

I wore out my first kurta because I enjoyed it so much. So then I began collecting them. A kurta is a collarless shirt that ends above or below the knee. It’s a style originating in India where this loose top in light materials helps with comfort in hot weather. As you shop for one, you will often find it named a kurti or tunic. All of mine have long sleeves and are made of a gauzy cotton. Spring is the best time for me to wear them. But there are many variations of materials and sleeve lengths that work well for Summer, too. As I explore how to wear a kurta American style, I’m sharing my outfit ideas with you. Age doesn’t matter. I hope this helps you to find some comfortable new outfits for the warm weather ahead.
