Fashion & Protest: How to Show Where You Stand

Women’s fashion has helped them throughout their history of protest, including their efforts over 100 years ago when they won the right to vote. (See my celebration of the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment HERE.) Age doesn’t matter when a certain color, symbol or slogan is worn by women showing their support for certain issues. Fashion is how to show where you stand and how to show your true self without having to say a word. And we need this now more than ever before!

Women Won the Right to Vote But When Will They Be Equal?

August 2020 marks 100 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote in the United States of America. So women won the right to vote but when will they be equal? Here it is well into the 21st century already. Don’t you think it’s about time?! And when we are finally equal, let’s also remember that age doesn’t matter! That’s another change that is well overdue in our society.
